We run this call from Champaign, about 8 miles out, so there's no Mahomet branch to walk into. You call or book online, tell us what the door is doing, and we put a truck on the road. Because the drive is short, we can usually work you into the same day's route rather than pushing you to tomorrow, but we're not going to promise an exact arrival window before we've seen the job - a stripped gear on a 2004 opener is a 40-minute fix, a bent track from a backed-into door is longer. Have the make of your opener handy if you can find it, and clear the driveway so the truck isn't blocking you in. If the spring has already let go, don't try to drive the car out - a door that's lost its spring will come down fast and uncontrolled when you pull the release cord.
